Chris Loughlin - Systems Consultant
Before working in the IT Sector Chris originally completed a City and Guilds apprenticeship in Electrical Installations. One of his mentors at the time was a certain Steve Brehaut. After qualifying as an electrician Chris reskilled by moving into the IT Sector and completed an AVCE in IT Qualification at the College of Further Education. Chris worked in the Public Sector for the last 5 years starting as a Desktop Support Technician and was then promoted to IT Service Desk Manager.
Chris has a vast knowledge of first and second line support, including remote working.
He is a qualified Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician and has extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems including Windows XP and the recently released Windows 7. In addition to this Chris has worked closely with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, Desktop Software and Operating System Deployment.
Chris enjoys fishing, snowboarding and following motorsport including Formula 1, Moto GP and World Touring Cars. Steve is particularly pleased to be working with Chris once again ands knows that he is a valuable addition to the Resolution IT team.
