Steve Brehaut

Steve is a Microsoft Certified Professional and has extensive experience in the IT environment. Originally completing a City and Guilds apprenticeship in Electrical Installations, Steve worked in Guernsey and the UK as a qualified electrician before moving into the IT sector as a Structured Cabling Engineer, where his electrical experience proved invaluable. Upon returning to the Island, Steve joined a local IT company as an IT Engineer where he has worked for the last six years, progressing to Head of Engineering Department. He has extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, including Windows 98, 2000,  XP, Vista  Server 2000, Server 2003 and Small Business Server. Steve was responsible for designing and implementing networks for small businesses which included internet, email, remote user access and backup solutions. He also provided home user support, from virus protection, to complete home networking solutions

Steve is married to Jo and his interests include football, motor sport and DIY.

Olly Duquemin

Olly is a Microsoft Certified Professional, Qualified Computer Engineer and A+ Hardware and Software Certified Professional.

After completing his A levels at Elizabeth College, Olly worked for four years at a local IT company where he was involved in a wide variety of work from home users to large local companies. His duties included installing and configuring Windows 98, 2000, XP, Vista & 2000, 2003 Server systems.  Olly’s work included resolving hardware and software issues for home and business users in PC and Server environments.  He was also involved in the installation of CCTV Camera’s, projectors, and secure communications systems with wireless and wired networks including building-to-building wireless links.

Olly’s interests include water sports, motor sports and restoring vehicles

Philip Duquemin FCA

Philip is a Fellow of the Institute of the Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He trained with KPMG, qualifying as a chartered accountant in1980.  Upon qualification Philip worked in Guernsey and then South Africa, where he lived for three years.  He managed the Cape Town office of KPMG where he developed an interest in commercial and trading businesses.

Upon returning to Guernsey in 1985 Philip decided to move out of the profession to focus on his commercial knowledge and joined NRG International.  NRG International is the global business to business supplier of office technology responsible for distributor operations in Europe, Russia and the former CIS, Middle East, Africa and part of SE Asia. Travelling extensively he grew the distributor business by 300 per cent.  In January 2007 Philip decided to finally unpack his cases and take a more Guernsey based lifestyle and left NRG International to pursue his personal business interests.

In March 2007 Philip was appointed Chairman of CGi.  He is also Chairman of Beckford’s Funeral Services Limited, a family owned company.

Philip and his wife have two children and his interests include fishing, playing golf and spending more time with his family.
