We’ve partnered with the leading dark web monitoring platform, which identifies, analyses and proactively monitors the dark web for any compromised employee email addresses. For example, when employees use the same work email and passwords for both work and personal use, the hacker will have direct access to that employee’s domain account and therefore their data. This data can then appear on the dark web for sale or exchange in forums. Having Dark Web ID alerts us to the compromised email addresses before the breach has occurred and also means we are not putting our own or our clients’ networks at risk by entering the dark web in the first place.
It has given us (and our clients who have signed up for this extra level of cyber security) actionable knowledge we never had before and is another way of securing your domain in today’s continuing cyber security battle.
Since taking up this service, many of our clients have been notified of multiple breached accounts and been able to take immediate action.
