Over the past year, the team at Resolution IT have been taking part in sessions to discover our values, to learn what is important to each of us as individuals. With the significant growth we’ve seen over the last few years, we thought it was important to reassess and redefine our company values, to ensure they best represent us as a whole. It was great to uncover that as a collective, the things we find most important are well aligned.
With that in mind, the new values that encapsulate Resolution IT both as a company and as a community, are as follows; Passion, Commitment, Excellence, Integrity and Respect.
We asked our Senior Leadership Team to speak on our company values. Last week, we spoke to Senior Business Solutions Manager, Debbie Exall, about Commitment. Second in our series, we have our CEO, Olly Duquemin, on what Integrity means to him.
“Integrity is at the heart of everything we do. We know that because through the values work we’ve done with each member of the team, integrity came out as the value most common to us all. For us to be successful as a business, it’s vital we all have integrity and I’m proud of its central importance to us.
Integrity means our relationship with our clients is based first and foremost on doing what is right for them and not us. Placing your whole IT system with Resolution IT involves trust and that trust comes from knowing we have integrity.
We had an issue recently with delays in a client’s email system. It was a technical error on our side, we explained this to the client and let them know how we had rectified the problem so it wouldn’t happen again. Honesty is the best policy and when things sometimes go wrong, we will always be the first to admit it. The client said they had not seen that level of honesty before from an IT provider.
For me, integrity is doing the right thing, all the time, even when no one is watching.”
